A weekend away

2238 Its been ages since we visited Trudy's parents caravan in Myola
so early (6am!!) Saturday morning we all piled into the car and headed off.

We crammed a full weeks worth of holidays into two days. We spend some time at the beach, building castles and kickin the footy about. (This kids swam, it was freezing but they insisted)

2229 Then a swim and a spot of tennis. (Trudy hadn't forgotten any of her tennis skill of course!)

My highlight was hand feeding the Rainbow Lorikeet's such a cool looking bird. The caravan park is swarming with them and if you are patient enough they will feed from your hand. Everyone had a go!

On Sunday we headed home, stopping off at Kiama for lunch and lucky for us the monthly Kiama Seaside Markets were on. Heaps of things to look at and rides for the kids to keep them happy. After lunch we stopped of at the blowhole. Unfortunately it wasn't going too well on Sunday :(

Just as we where leaving a massive military aircraft took a sweeping pass of Kiama. Trudy grabbed the camera and managed to get one hurried shot off before it had passed.

Back home late Sunday afternoon and everyone in bed and asleep by 8.30pm. What a tops weekend!
